B2 accumulator bore wear allows critical pressure loss.
Recover hydraulic control and restore normal shift operation by reconditioning the bores and installing Sonnax oversized B2 accumulator pistons.

Toyota/Lexus vehicles with listed transmissions may have harsh or slipping shifts and loss of engine braking in D2 range. This is often caused by accumulator piston bore wear that allows leakage in the B2 circuit. In extreme cases, the pistons can become jammed in the bores. Reconditioning the bores and installing Sonnax oversized B2 accumulator pistons 147741-13 will restablishes control of the B2 circuit to restore normal shift operation and feel.
- Contains two pistons - both are necessary to service one valve body
- Hardcoat anodized aluminum pistons combat premature wear
- Annular grooves and lengthened spool help center piston in bore to reduce future side-load wear

You need this if...
Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated fails to hold the recommended minimum in-Hg, or if wear is visually detected. Bores must be tested concurrently.
