Symptoms:

Cause:

Wear of the B1 control valve in the aluminum sleeve.

Correction:

The new assembly restores B1 control for up/down shifts.

The B1 brake in U151E/F and U250E transmissions is applied in 2nd, 4th and 5th gear. The B1 apply control plunger valve helps to correctly position the apply control valve to allow apply oil through the control valve and to feed the B1 brake. If there is excessive wear at the plunger valve sleeve, B1 brake oil is reduced.

  • Drop in replacement, no special tools required.
