Symptoms:

  • Erratic line pressure
  • Low line rise in Drive
  • Low line rise in Reverse
  • Bushing failure
  • High line pressure in Reverse

Cause:

Wear at the inner bore results in excess pressure and reduced cooler/converter flow. Boost sleeve wear allows oil loss, resulting in poor line rise.

Correction:

Sonnax main oversized pressure regulator valve and boost valve kit allows the valve body bore to be restored to normal operating condition.
