- Bang shifts
- Excess Reverse pressure & distorted housings
- Flare shifts
- Harsh upshifts
- Low cooler flow
- TCC cycling
- TCC slip
Excessive solenoid pressure is caused by line pressure side-loading the steel solenoid modulator valve and the continuous oscillation of the valve, which wears the cast aluminum bore.
The modified valve and high-grade aluminum sleeve allows the bore to be refurbished, and prevents side-loading of the valve and future wear.
Oversized Solenoid Modulator Valve Kit
- High-grade aluminum sleeve resists wear and provides porting to prevent valve side-loading.
- Hard-coat anodized aluminum valve incorporates annular grooves to prevent wear and side-loading.
- Replacement spring resets regulated pressure to OE specification.
