OE overdrive clutch hub bushings in 41TE, 42LE and 42RLE units often leak critical lube oil due to imprecise clearances with the underdrive shaft. This loss of lube oil regularly leads to planetary damage and shaft breakage. The two-piece OE bushing design allows excess radial movement of the shaft, hastening failure. Installing improved, one-piece Sonnax overdrive clutch hub bushing 92004-LOS restores the crucial clearances necessary for optimal performance.
