Sonnax OE plastic thrust washer GMFD-WP-1 replaces worn or damaged thrust washers in GM 6T70, 6T75, Ford 6F50, 6F55, Hyundai/Kia A6GF1, Aisin AW TF-80 SC and Aisin AW TF-81SC (AF 21) converters.
The plastic OE thrust washers have a high failure rate when subjected to impact loading, many rebuilders prefer the impact resistance and friction characteristics of the Vespel® option GMFD-WP-2.
