Bore wear prevents proper valve stroke and reduces critical clutch/brake feed/apply oil flow through the various relay/control/switch valves.
Restore proper clutch/brake feed and apply control by reaming bore to match the improved Sonnax oversized valve.
Oversized Three-Spool Relay/Control/Switch Valve Kit

This kit can be used in any of six locations in three different valve body applications. See chart Figure 1 and identification photos Figures 2, 3 & 4 on the instruction sheet for details.
The Aisin AW 6-speed units TF-80SC, TF-81SC and TF-60SN (VW 09G) each utilize three spool valves as relay, control or switch valves. These valves are found in multiple circuits in all valve bodies across the AW6 family (see Figures 1-4) and are used to route critical clutch/brake feed and apply oil to the appropriate apply components. The numerous shift/driveability complaints vary depending on the circuit affected (Figure 1). The oversized three-spool relay/control/switch valve kit 15741-50K restores proper clutch/brake feed and apply pressure to the related components by functioning in a refurbished bore that provides correct hydraulic clearances.

A vacuum test at the port indicated fails to hold at least 16 in-Hg.
NOTE: The vacuum test for the B1/C3 Relay Port in TF-81SC application is an example of a typical port location. All the other valves should be checked similarly at the port associated with the plug-to-valve spool interface.
