Sonnax non-wavy steel snap ring FD-SR-2 is a direct replacement for damaged and worn snap rings in early-style 5R110W, 4R100, E4OD and many other Ford applications. In late-style 5R110W converters, FD-SR-2, along with Sonnax steel stator cap FD-WS-33, replace the impeller-side OE steel stator cap and wavy snap ring. However, FD-SR-2 cannot be used as a direct replacement for the OE wavy snap ring, nor will it fit the OE steel stator cap in late-style 5R110W converters.
