Radial Lip Seal

Sonnax offers fluorocarbon radial lip seal FS-O-27V with metal case O.D. for listed ZF and Ford units.
Caution should be taken when using radial lip seal FS-O-27V in ZF units to be sure it is installed in the correct direction. In later units, the OE part has a flange to prevent incorrect installations. The Sonnax part does not have the flange. The correct installation for the FS-O-27V in both later cover and early turbine hub applications is to place them so that the cavity side of the seal is 'up', towards the impeller.
