Eliminate 3-4 Clutch Failure with the Smart-Tech® Input Housing
The flawed design of the 4L60/E OE input housing will always let you down with another burnt 3-4 clutch. When the weak backing plate flexes during clutch apply, heat builds up and the clutches cook. Stop the flex and you stop 3-4 clutch failure.
Watch this video to see the OE backing plate flex and how the Sonnax Smart-Tech® input housing eliminates this issue. It's the ONLY way to guarantee you're getting the most from your favorite clutches.

Easy Pressure Switch Rebuilds for 6L- & Gen. 1 6T-Series Units
GM 6-speed transmissions often set various trouble codes caused by fluid pressure switch failure. Replacement of the expensive TEHCM in which the switches live was traditionally the only way to restore normal shift operation, but now there’s a better alternative: rebuilding the switches.
Sonnax's patent-pending rebuild kits for 6L-series and Gen. 1 6T70, 6T75 units contain exactly the right tools and parts for fast, safe installation of new pressure switch laminate discs and seals. There’s no coaxing, no practice, just successful switch rebuilds the first time, every time.
Watch the video to learn how this simple, affordable technique will save you hundreds of dollars and keep the TEHCM out of the boneyard!
Zip Kit® Video - The first step in correcting common shift problems.
It’s easy to restore and extend vehicle shift quality with Zip Kits. Uniquely designed parts target the root cause of valve body complaints and stop critical circuit pressure losses in the most common problem areas of the transmission. No reaming or special tools required to install simple, effective parts. Each kit comes with an in-depth tech booklet for installation, testing and diagnostics.
Sonnax Solenoid Wire Connector Retainer Demo Video
The Aisin AW 55-50SN and 6-speed valve bodies have a solenoid connector which breaks during wire harness removal. Once the bridge lock is broken, the wiring will not remain engaged. The Sonnax solenoid wire connector retainer easily snaps over the remaining plastic frame holding the wire terminals in place, allowing these broken solenoids to be reused.
