Inside Sales Support Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for the entering of data from various source documents into the computer system for storage, processing and data management purposes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work closely with sales representatives and other departments to implement order fulfillment and follow-up services to best promote customer satisfaction, including order entry, product allocation, information on back order status and availability.
  • Document and process information related to customer complaints (CC’s) and return authorizations (RA’s), including appropriate research and back-up, working closely with other departments.
  • Assist in the setup of new customers and maintain accurate customer account information and notes to maximize customer service and satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of new order fulfillment related procedures to respond to new opportunities and requests for improved customer service.
  • Special assignments such as mailings and show box preparation.
  • Provide back-up to Sales Support team, and as directed by Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data efficiently.
  • Ability to ensure accuracy – errors involving order entry and customer complaint processing, as a percentage of corresponding totals, must be in compliance with ISO goals.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • MS Office proficiency with emphasis on Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Proficiency in Spanish language desired.
