Common complaints with the 727, 904, 42-46-47RH/RE transmissions are soft 1-2 shifts, forward clutch failure, poor line rise and delayed forward engagement caused by a worn or scored accumulator bore in the case. Sonnax offers a kit, 22841-01K, to repair the accumulator bore. This kit is a drop-in solution and does not require any special machining.
- Kit allows the salvage of damaged cases that would otherwise have to be scrapped.
- Two sleeves are included to repair both the small- and large-diameter bores.
- Kit includes an undersized piston with seals to provide proper fit with new sleeves.
