Cause:

Wear at the valve/sleeve bore allows critical control pressures to cross-leak between valve body circuits or escape to the sump. Accumulator control pressure may be high or low depending on wear location.

Correction:

When shift codes and shift complaints such as harsh shifts are found in listed Toyota/Lexus units, the accumulator control valve is frequently the culprit.
