Inventory Control Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

Coordinates and expedites the production, flow, and storage of material through the plant to maintain inventory accuracy, through the management of inventory and production transactions: stock management of material, locations and statuses. Prepares and processes cycle counts, stock transactions and production work orders.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviews work orders.
  • Processes and closes work orders.
  • Adjusts/corrects ADC entries.
  • Monitors inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
  • Performs Production Tracking Functions and Stock Change functions/physical and electronic
  • Performs Cycle Counts, analyzing cycle counted material differences of what is in the computer system and physically counted.
  • Analyzes stock history transactions to correct inventory discrepancies and reconciles stock discrepancies through the appropriate transactions.
  • Backs up creating and processing Transfer Shipments and Receipts.
  • Confirms shipped orders manually caused by an exception or error from a sales order.
  • Backs up analyzing and evaluating Customer Feedback Forms.
  • Backs up isolating and processing transactions of inventory as requested.
  • Backs up disassembling and processing transactions of inventory as requested.
  • Picks samples and miscellaneous parts and processes transactions as requested.
  • Processes skip lot transactions in Innovator for SDC.
  • Performs counts for flush counting
  • Processes PRTs and returns
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Ability to learn and use a computer based ERP program.  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • No restrictions on wearing required PPE for area, including safety eyewear and steel toed shoes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
