Sonnax stator cap GM-WP14-OE is molded from a high performance phenolic resin. A significant upgrade over the OE thrust spacer, it has been designed specifically for the AT540 and GM TH400 converters. A thicker ribbed flange makes it easier to stake in place, elminiating failures caused by parts spinning in the stator, The solid, non-cored design helps prevent fracturing, blistering or craking.
