Toyota/Lexus A750, A761 and A960 series transmissions can have harsh 2-3 and harsh coast downshift complaints associated with bore wear at the lockup control valve. This is due to the converter clutch remaning applied. When bore wear delays TCC apply, the vehicle RPM may surge or set gear ratio codes due to high slip rates. Installing the Sonnax oversized lockup control valve kit 147741-16K can restore correct lube pressure and valve control timing.
Sonnax valve body layouts provide a detailed overview of individual units making it quick and easy to determine what’s available for the specific valve body you’re working on. See all Sonnax valve body layouts.
