Excessive solenoid pressure is caused by line pressure side-loading the steel solenoid modulator valve along with the continuous oscillation of the valve, which wears the cast aluminum bore.


The modified valve and high-grade aluminum sleeve allow the bore to be refurbished, and prevent side-loading of the valve and future wear.
