Delayed forward engagement, burned forward clutch, and/or forward clutch psi low by 10-15 psi in vehicles with AXOD, AXODE, AX4N/S or 4F50N transmissions are common complaints. These are often caused by a worn valve body at the manual valve bore, allowing excessive oil leakage. Replace the worn OE manual valve with Sonnax manual valve 96201-05 to prevent oil leakage and increase stability at the linkage.

  • Manual valve is hard-coat anodized to prevent wear.
  • The three spool diameters have been lengthened to provide increased stability and prevent oil leakage.
  • Exhaust flats added to the extended spools provide proper oil circuit control.
  • Lengthened spools and tightly toleranced cross hole provide increased valve stability at the linkage.
