Symptoms:
- Low base line pressure
- Push belt slippage
- Solenoid performance codes
- Delayed engagement
Cause:
Wear in the bore and valve can lead to hydraulic leakage. This can result in low pressure, delayed engagement as well as belt slipping and damage.Correction:

Wear in the main pressure regulator bore is common in Jatco/Nissan JF016E (RE0F10D) and JF017E (RE0F10E) units. This wear minimizes line pressure control resulting in delayed engagement and pulley damage.
Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized main pressure regulator valve kit 33510N-05K restores accurate pressure control.
