Cause:

TCC switch plunger sleeve bore wear and/or wear in the tcc switch/regulator bore allows loss of crucial control pressure.

Correction:

Restore proper hydraulic control by reaming the bore and replacing worn parts with the Sonnax oversized lockup control and plunger valve kit to restore proper clearances.
