Symptoms:

  • Shift concerns associated with circuit pressure loss
  • Burnt clutches
  • Soft shifts

Cause:

Bore and/or piston wear in the signal accumulator can allow for variation in the fluid flow pressure between the control solenoids and the control valves.

Correction:

Sonnax drop-in signal accumulator piston kit corrects this circuit pressure variation by replacing the worn OE accumulator without the need of modifying the valve body.
