Symptoms:

  • Erratic line pressure
  • Burnt clutches
  • Poor shift quality
  • Low converter & lube flow
  • Overheating

Cause:

Continuous oscillation of pressure regulator boost valve results in excess sleeve bore wear, allowing line pressure to exhaust and/or blocking converter feed oil.

Correction:

Restore line pressure performance and renew converter feed by installing the Sonnax drop-in pressure regulator boost valve kit.
