Symptoms:

  • Delayed engagement
  • Push belt slippage

Cause:

A worn pump flow control valve and/or bore allow pump pressure to cross leak into the low pressure side of the pump and reduce pressure available for the belt drive pulleys.

Correction:

Refurbish the pump flow control valve bore and install the Sonnax oversized valve to restore adequate pressure for the pump drive pulleys.

In Nissan/Jatco JF010E (RE0F09A/RE0F09B) units the pump body flow control valve bore wears due to constant valve movement. Wear allows critical pump pressure to leak into the low pressure side of the pump, reducing pressure needed for proper engagements and push belt pulleys to operate correctly. Sonnax oversized pump flow control valve 113741-07 allows the pump body to be refurbished and hydraulic control to be restored.

  • Hardcoat anodized aluminum valves combat premature wear
  • Use of the VB-06 base plate and the VB-FIX reaming fixture, allows salvage of previoulsy non-repairable pump bodies

Use of the VB-06 base plate is highly recommended when using the [F-113741-TK7C] tool kit. The standard VB-FIX base plate would require drilling and tapping to allow reverse installation.
