Symptoms:

  • High TCC slip RPM (TCCMACT) increases with operating temperature
  • Code P0741
  • Bushing failure
  • Bushing wear
  • Overheating

Cause:

Worn stator bushings allow TCC apply pressure to exhaust.

Correction:

Recover hydraulic control and restore normal TCC operation by installing Sonnax stator bushing.

Stator bushings in Ford 4F27E, FNR5 and Mazda FN4A-EL, FS5A-EL units have a tendency to wear out prematurely due to sub-optimal material composition of OE bushing. This wear can lead to bushing failure, high TCC slip rates, overheating and TCC performance codes. Sonnax stator bushing 46000-01K features superior wear characteristics, eliminating premature deterioration for worry-free operation.

  • Upgraded material composition outperforms OE bushing
  • Includes two bushings which can be used at either location
  • Bushing Style: Precision
