Symptoms:

  • Excess TCC slip
  • TCC shudder
  • TCC codes
  • Overheated fluid & TCC lining
  • TCC apply & release concerns
  • Loss of fuel economy

Cause:

TCC control bore wear allows pressure loss that results in driveability concerns.

Correction:

Recover hydraulic control and renew TCC performance by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized TCC control and plunger valve kit.
