Symptoms:

Erratic line pressure
Broken parts due to excessive line pressure
High line pressure
Restricted converter/lube flow

Cause:

Excessive valve and bore clearance allows critical line pressure balance fluid to cross-leak to exhaust, causing high pressure, broken parts and flow to the converter/lube circuit to be restricted.

Correction:

Sonnax drop-in, direct-replacement pressure regulator sleeve addresses sleeve wear and circuit integrity of line pressure balance in the pressure regulator circuit.

There are some small diameter and length differences that can cause fit and pressure issues if mismatched into the wrong application. It is recommended to measure the locations shown here to verify that the correct OE or replacement part is fit into the appropriate application during rebuild.
