The PCM MUST be updated using the new solenoid strategy code attached to the remanufactured valve body. Failure to update will result in erratic transmission operation and damage.
Sonnax remanufactured valve body F06R140 has been designed to address common issues, such as: harsh shifts, delayed engagements, solenoid codes, gear ratio codes, slips and flares, burnt clutches, low converter and lube flow, erratic line pressure, and failed solenoids.
To guarantee the highest level of operational performance, this remanufactured valve body is tested on state-of-the art equipment to verify that solenoid feed pressure, clutch pressures, torque converter pressures, and line pressure match OE specification.
Feed tubes, pump feed seals, clutch feed seals, harness and TFT sensor are not included.

Note: Sonnax remanufactured valve body F06R140 incorporates updates that allow it to be used to replace both early- and middle-style variations of the Ford 6R140 units that use a cooler bypass valve. Sonnax does not currently offer a replacement valve body for late-style units with a blocked cooler bypass valve.
