Sonnax thrust washer BW-WP-5 is .030" thicker than the OE washer found in BW 310mm LU (Chrysler A618), 47RE and 48RE converters. This extra thickness allows rebuilders to compensate for material machined off the mating surface for cleanup and to help obtain the proper clutch release clearance and overall height.
