Sonnax stator kit GM-ST-8-1835 allows builders more flexibility when designing performance torque converters using the GM 258mm core. This stator is not a duplicate of any OE stator, this billet aluminum stator employs 18 flat blades at a 35° angle. When using the available GM-HR-50 and GM-WS-47, you can use Sonnax mechanical diodes or one-way clutch eliminator inserts.
