Sonnax dampered performance converter kit BWFD-RK-1 contains all parts needed to convert a readily available, low-stall Ford 5R110W 6-stud core to a BorgWarner 310mm (A618, 47RH/RE, 48RE) performance converter, which utilized the OE piston/damper assembly for a more cost-effective kit and does not require use of the hard-to-find Cummins core.

This converter is not designed for high clutch capacity and as such is not for use over the recommended clutch capacity of 535 ft-lb of torque.
